The RFP-5 PS positioning system, produced by Seichter GmbH, is a recognized world-leading system for accurate geometric measurement of the complete range of tires. When supplied with the patented capacative DMU (distance measurement unit), the system will provide extremely accurate measurement of all tracks of a tire from runnout through bulge and depression detection.

The RFP-5 PS, which can be utilized on tire uniformity machines, force machines and other geometric measuring machines, can also be provided with other sensors, such as lasers.
